Leadership

John grew up in rural Iowa and graduated from Green Mountain Garwin High School in 2006.  He attended Simpson College where he earned a B.S. in Athletic Training in 2010.  John continued his education at A.T. Still University in Mesa, AZ where he earned a Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2013. 

The Lord called John into ministry and provided an opportunity for him to complete a pastoral internship program with Rev. Rick Schill.  He has been serving the Community Church of Union since 2019. 

John is married to his lovely wife, Katie and they have 3 children: Clara Sue, Maisa, and Abby.
